Eve Ellis is a Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney.
A Certified Financial Planner and Certified Investment Management
Analyst, she is one of fewer than 200 Chartered Advisors in Philanthropy
in the nation, offering investment advisory services to nonprofit
organizations and endowments as well as to philanthropic individuals and
families. She is a member of the Association of Professional
Investment Consultants, an organization dedicated toward professionalism
within the consulting industry. Active in alumni activities of Friends'
Central School in Philadelphia and Yale University, she is engaged in
many charities, including Susan G. Komen for the Cure NYC (member of the Audit and Governance Committees, former Board Member), American Committee for the Weizmann Institute of Science, New Dramatists, Transport Group Theatre Company, Columbia University Medical Center (Professional Advisors’ Circle), NYC Principal for a Day Programs, Callen-Lorde Community Health Center, and the Mann Center for the Performing Arts (her grandfather was philanthropist Fredric R. Mann).
Eve is a member of the Investment Committees of the Ms. Foundation for Women, Congregation Rodeph Sholom, and the Jewish Women’s Archive,
the Philanthropy Committee of 100 Women in Hedge Funds, and the
Advisory Network of Galeforce Capital, a philanthropic investment fund.
A former professional tennis player, Eve is a Board Member of Maccabi USA/Sports for Israel.
From 2003-2007, she chaired the United States Tennis Teams and served
as National Coordinator of USA Tennis for World and Regional Maccabiah
Games. She frequently speaks at informational and educational
conferences on a wide range of topics.
