Tova Rosen
Tova Rosen is professor of medieval Hebrew literature at Tel Aviv University. After receiving her D.Phil. from Oxford University, Rosen held positions at Haifa, Ben-Gurion and Princeton Universities. She also taught as visiting professor at Columbia and Berkeley and was a visiting fellow at the CAJS (Penn). Among her publications are: Close Readings in Shemuel Ha-Nagid, a monograph on the Hebrew muwashshah and Hebrew Secular Poetry in the Middle Ages, all in Hebrew. Her most recent book, Unveiling Eve, is the first feminist inquiry into medieval Hebrew literature. Rosen currently serves as advisor to the president of Tel Aviv University on women’s issues.
