Judith Plaskow
Judith Plaskow is professor emerita of religious studies at Manhattan College. She has written dozens of articles on feminist theology and is the author of Standing Again at Sinai: Judaism from a Feminist Perspective, The Coming of Lilith: Essays on Judaism, Feminism, and Sexual Ethics, 1972–2003, and, with Carol P. Christ, Goddess and God in the World: Conversations in Embodied Theology. With Christ, she also co-edited Womanspirit Rising: A Feminist Reader in Religion and Weaving the Visions: New Patterns in Feminist Spirituality. A former president of the American Academy of Religion, she co-founded the Journal of Feminist Studies in Religion with Elisabeth Schussler Fiorenza and co-edited it for many years.
