Carlene Meeker
Carlene Meeker is an artist and independent scholar who specializes in contemporary art. She graduated from Parsons School of Design and the Brooklyn Museum Art School and received her degree in art history from New York University. For twelve years she worked for Roy Lichtenstein as his chief studio assistant and curator and is presently a major participant in an oral history project of the late artist’s life and work. She has been a consultant and contributor for numerous exhibitions and catalogues in the fine arts.
