Sarah Quiat
Sarah Quiat grew up in Boulder, Colorado. As an undergraduate student, she studied economics and Jewish studies at Vassar College in New York. In her economics coursework, she researched the impact of motherhood on labor outcomes through the "Lesbian Wage Premium," and, in her Jewish studies major, focused on Jewish approaches to social justice and the history of Yiddish speaking immigrants in the United States. After graduating, Sarah spent a year working in education and translation at the Yiddish Book Center in western Massachusetts before joining the JWA team as Program Manager in 2019.
