Mara is a writer and long-time Jewish and non-profit professional in Toronto, Boston, and Buffalo. Born in Montreal, she has lived in Buffalo for 17 years. Mara has published in the Jewish Women’s Archive, Globe & Mail, Buffalo NewsNew York Times letters to the editor, Baltimore Jewish Times, and The Jewish Advocate. She has also edited the anthology, Mourning has Broken: A Collection of Creative Writing about Grief and Healing.
