Both my mother and daughter attended the Philadelphia Hebrew Sunday school society Sunday schools started by Rebecca Gratz. It was especially helpful to young parents who had not joined a synagogue yet. It was walking distance from our apartment. We still have the holiday book our daughter earned for excellence .
