I was raised in a Universalist country church in Mississippi, now Unitarian Universalist. I have always felt a strong affinity to Judaism. I was thrilled to be able to take part twice in JWA. Rabbi Brous gives me hope that we can learn to listen to each other. I love the subtitle of a book by Susan Cain—Silence: Introverts in a World That Can’t Stop Talking. It seems we’ve lost the art of really listening to one another. I look forward to more inspiration.

Best wishes to you all (y’all),
