I am so glad I found this interview. Im getting the book ASAP. It has, in so many ways, spoken to me about the insanely qualified sympathy that I keep hearing about the Israelis murdered in the Hamas atrocities. I feel like it's not just me having these complex feelings of anger and resentment to my non-Jewish neighbours and acquaintances for all their "but" platitudes and awkward phrases that could simply be broken down to 'you had it coming'
