First, if you want to condemn the emphasis on physical appearance, I think women are far more guilty of this-  how often do you hear she's a beautiful young girl/lady.  Angela Merkel has been a powerful leader and many respect her judgment and policies, while others do not, but her appearance would seem to be irrelevant to any assessment of her capabilities.  



Since comments occur, I would be surprised if someone found this particularly disturbing.  Personally I would be equally worried about the view that any type of joke had to satisfy a test of politic correctness.  I just read a book of Jewish humor and there were jokes about a variety of issues.  My temple has had I believe three women rabbis and I have not heard such comments, but I would expect that any rabbi, male or female, would not get rattled by an isolated comment.
