I converted to orthodox christianity several years ago and discovered this amazing heroine when I purchased an Orthodox Bible. I have such admiration for her that I took her name as my baptismal name when I converted and was baptized. I talk about her to my friends and family, whether religious or atheist, because it is such a great story. Esther is also the bomb, but Judith is just at a different level altogether. :)
