It is interesting how the word is being used now. There was a minute back in the 80s when it was trendy to discuss body parts with young children and the debate was using vulva versus vagina. I still know some self-proclaimed sex-positive women who can't say the word in conversation (creative euphemisms are wonderful) but I think it is being liberated. However no one anywhere should care what Bill Maher says about most things and women's bodies should be number 1 on that list.
