Just saw the Graphic Details: Confessional Comics by Jewish Women exhibit at the Yeshiva University Museum (YUM). There was a fine panel, too, moderated by Robin Cembalest, Executive Editor of ARTnews.
Four of the 18 women in the show participated in the panel: Ariel Schrag, Miriam Katin, Lauren Weinstein, and Miss Lasko-Gross. They were smart and candid, responding to the question: Are Jewish women artists more confessional than men? The New York exhibit was adapted by Zachary Paul Levine, an assistant curator, who added six videos to the original show.
