Get a grip. I watch Biggest Loser. I find it motivating. I have lost over 50 lbs as a Weight Watchers member. Because they are looking for Jewish contestants, does not mean they are sterotyping. I like the idea of seeing some one I can relate to as a contestant. Have you sat in a synagogue lately and looked around. Just like everywhere else there are an awful lot of seriously obese Jews. They have had people of many different nationalities and ethnic groups on Biggest Loser. I like the idea of seeing them work with people who keep kosher. As far as calorie restrictions and exercise, the contestants are closely supervised by doctors and trainers. They make it clear that this intensive program is not something that can be done without very close supervision and can only be done while one does not have to go to a job or have other responsiblilities. This program has motivated all kinds of people to lose weight and a healthier life style.
