I'm so glad that there was a religious and pro-equality presence there. It can be difficult to be religious in the LGBTQ community, as religion often gets a bad name among queers as it does among progressives. Religion has been used as a weapon of homophobia (not to mention sexism and other isms) and I'm happy that many of us are reclaiming it and using it to support and affirm our feminist/queer/progressive identities (and vice versa!)
