Judith Kimchi-Woods (Davidovitch) PhD, MS, RN, MBA, CPNP, CPHQ was born and raised in Israel and immigrated to the United States in 1976 right after completion of her nursing studies. Armed with a basic nursing diploma and little money, she earned her Master’s and Doctorate degrees in nursing at The Ohio State University (OSU) as well as her Nurse Practitioner certification. In 2014 she was recognized by the Ohio State University College of Nursing as one of its 100 most influential alumni. With her career spanning nearly 50 years and including staff nursing, research, education, quality improvement, and executive leadership, she had influenced and inspired the education, and career of thousands of nurses. In 2015 she dreamt and brought to fruition Shine On: Nurses in Art. A widely successful ten-week exhibition about nurses and nursing at the Columbus Museum of Art in Columbus Ohio.
