Jane, my son, Steve Quatrano, sent me this website because he knew I'd be interested. Boy, was he correct! How lucky for you to have had such an incredible woman as this in your life. What a role model! And I must say that Aunt Nell was also fortunate for you to have written such a lovely tribute of her many accomplishments and productive life and your willingness to share it with today's women.
I agree with Steve that your research posed a lot of thought provoking questions and it certainly seems to have kept you busy (and happy?) doing the work. I must also admit awe that you were privileged to meet so many impressive people including my most favorite hero, Eleanor Roosevelt.
I intend to alert some of my fellow Hadassah sisters and many others at Appalachian State's Judaic, Holocaust and Peace Studies Center here in Boone, North Carolina of this JWA website. (It is new to me and well worth sharing.) Thank you.
