I’m helping my son study for his HS class on international development, and so had the opportunity to look up one of my favorite professors, Dr. Morgenthau. Though I wasn’t really studying in her field, her seminar made me reconsider — especially if I could work with her. An incredibly warm and caring mentor, and a spectacularly curious and incisive teacher. And she threw a hell of a dinner party, in what I assume was the most beautiful, and beautifully-curated, home in Cambridge.
