"But, I Don't Teach History!" Using Historical Sources in Jewish Education
The webinar was held on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at 1pm and Thursday, January 10, 2013 at 8pm.
We often hear educators say: “I love the primary sources, but I don't teach history!” In this program, JWA Education Staff presented some ideas for using historical sources across the curriculum—whether the subject is Torah, tefilot (prayers), holidays, or Jewish values. Participants learned about how to integrate primary sources into their classrooms and shared their ideas about how to build connections between different entry points for Jewish education.
