Dear Miss Wald,
The enclosed note I received to day, as a reply to my inquiry regarding advertisement rates in the American Journal for Nurses. I do not quite understand, whether Miss Palmer wants to know from what school of nursing I graduated, or where I studied scalp treatment. I can not tell Miss Palmer that I could not graduate as a nurse, because I was arrested shortly before my graduation, nor can I tell her that I [continued on the next page]
