This Indenture witnesseth, that Mary Ann Peterson—with the consent of her next friend Ann Morris—hath put herself, and by these present, and for other good causes, doth voluntarily, and of her own free will and accord, put herself apprentice to Moses B. Smith—to learn the art, trade and mystery of a housewife and after the manner of an apprentice, to serve the said Moses B. Smith from the day of the date hereof, for and during, and to the full end and term of six years and six monthes—next ensuing.
