Alice in Wonderland Doll Produced by the Alexander Doll Company, circa 1930s

A note on the back of this photo identifies this doll as one of the first Alice in Wonderland dolls made by the Company in 1923 and 1924, but it more likely dates to the 1930s. In the 1980s, the Alice in Wonderland dolls that sold for $1.95 in 1923 were listed in the Fifth Blue Book of Dolls and Values at $300-$350.
