Francesca Tillona
Francesca Tillona (d. 1997) was an associate professor of English at the University of Massachusetts at Lowell. She received her Ph.D. from Boston University. She taught graduate and undergraduate courses in English, American, and Continental literature in translation, as well as courses in writing fiction, professional and business writing, and editorial and publishing techniques. She was the coauthor of Feast of Flowers, a collection of flower recipes from the Middle Ages and the Renaissance adapted for use in the contemporary kitchen. She also worked on a study of the king’s two bodies — a sixteenth-century legal doctrine — and Shakespeare’s development of that doctrine in his English history plays.
