Nellie L. Thompson
Nellie L. Thompson is an historian and member of the New York Psychoanalytic Society and Institute, where she is also curator of the Archives and Special Collections of the A.A. Brill Library. Thompson’s research interests include the history of psychoanalysis and the role and contributions of women to the psychoanalytic movement. She has written papers on early women psychoanalysts, including Helene Deutsch, Josephine Jackson, Edith Jacobson and Marie Bonaparte.
