Sheila Segal

Sheila Segal is the author of Women of Valor: Stories of Great Jewish Women Who Helped Shape the Twentieth Century and the critically acclaimed Joshua’s Dream: A Child’s Journey to the Land of Israel. Her articles and reviews have appeared in Midstream, Hadassah, and the Near East Report, of which she is a former editor. During her tenure as editor in chief of the Jewish Publication Society, she developed many books by and about Jewish women.
