Lily Rattok received her B.A. in philosophy and her M.A. and Ph.D. in Hebrew literature at Tel Aviv University. She is a senior lecturer in the literature department at Tel Aviv University. Her publications include The Hebrew Lyrical Story: Essays; Amaliah Kahana-Carmon: Monograph; A Precarious House: The Narrative Art of A. Appelfeld and Angel of Fire: The Poetry of Yona Wallach. Rattok edited Uri Nisan Genesin: Criticism of His Work; The Other Voice: Women’s Fiction in Hebrew and, with Carol Diament, Ribcage: Israeli Women’s Fiction.
