Michaela Raggam-Blesch
Michaela Raggam-Blesch is a historian at the Institute of Contemporary History at the Vienna University with a post-doctoral project on “’Mixed Families’ during the Nazi period in Vienna,” funded by the Elise Richter habilitation grant of the Austrian Science Fund. She has worked for the Leo Baeck Institute in New York (1999-2003) and is the recipient of various fellowships, including the Center for Jewish History Fellowship (2003). She is also co-curator of an exhibition on collection camps in Vienna (2016) and on the fate of the Viennese musicians Alma and Arnold Rosé (2018). Her main fields of research are Austrian Jewish history in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, autobiography and memory studies, oral history, microhistory, and Holocaust Studies.
