Susan Khanweiler Pollock
Susan Kahnweiler Pollock retired in 2002 from the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence, where she worked in issue advocacy, outreach, community organizing and media relations in Southwestern states. After graduating from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, she was a financial reporter for United Press International in Chicago, a general assignments reporter for the Chicago Daily News, and an award-winning science writer and producer at KPBS, a public television station in San Diego, California. Currently she is a member of the board of directors of the San Diego affiliate of the American Civil Liberties Union and previously served on the boards of Jewish Family Service, The Woman’s Institute for Continuing Jewish Education and Mothers Embracing Nuclear Disarmament.
