Rena Molho
Rena Molho teaches the history of Greek Jewry at Panteion University in Athens. She has published more than thirty studies in both Greek and foreign scientific books, encyclopaedias and journals. Her work focuses on the different expressions of Ottoman and Greek Jewish civilization and culture and more specifically that of the Jews of Salonika. Her book The Jews of Thessaloniki, 1856–1919: A Unique Community, which received the Athens Academy Award in 2000 and was published in Greek by the Themelio publishing house in 2001, is now a university textbook distributed to Greek students of Jewish history.
