Dieter J. Hecht
Dieter J. Hecht received a Ph.D. in contemporary history from the University of Vienna. His specialization is Jewish women’s history in central Europe, the Jewish press, and Holocaust Studies. He is involved in several historical projects in Austria and in Israel. Among his publications are Mutterland-Vatersprache (2005), an oral history study on Jews from Austria in Israel, a biographical study of Anitta Müller-Cohen (2008), and a biographical study of Egon Zweig (2012).
