Diana Hallman
Diana Hallman is a musicologist and pianist who holds a Ph.D. in music from the Graduate Center of the City University of New York, an M.M. in musicology from the University of Maryland, and a B.M. in piano performance from Wintrop College. She is assistant professor of musicology at the University of Kentucky. Hallman has written a dissertation on the French grand opera La Juive (1835), by Fromental Halévy and Eugène Scribe, and an M.A. thesis on the pianist Fannie Bloomfield Zeisler. She is now completing a book on the life and career of Zeisler.
