Mark I. Greenberg
Mark I. Greenberg received his Ph.D. from the University of Florida, his M.A. from the University of Western Ontario, and his B.A. from the University of Toronto. His dissertation is “Creating Ethnic Identity in Dixie: The Jews of Savannah, Georgia, 1830–1900.” A former assistant editor of Florida Historical Quarterly, Greenberg has published articles on Southern Jewish history. He is resident historian at the Museum of the Southern Jewish Experience in Jackson, Mississippi.
