Raphael Falk
Raphael Falk, professor of genetics (emeritus) at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, received his Fil. Kand. (1954) and Fil. Lic. (1955) degrees at the University of Stockholm and his Ph.D. at the Hebrew University. His research has been on genetic viability effects of induced mutations in Drosophila; genetic analysis of gene chromosome organization in Drosophila; and developmental genetics (1955–1988). Since 1983 he has also researched the history of genetics and the epistemology of
genetic and evolutionary concepts.
