Nachman Falbel
Nachman Falbel, a professor of medieval history and philosophy at the University of São Paulo, was the founder-director of the Center for the Jewish Studies of the University of Sao Paulo, as well the founder director of the Jewish Brazilian Historical Archive. Among his dozens of publications dedicated to both fields are the books Medieval Heresies (1977, 2007), Jacob Nachbin (1985, 2013), The Franciscan Spirituals (1995, 2011), Manasche: his life and his time (1998), Kiddush Hashem: Hebrew Chronicles on the Crusades (2001), David José Pérez: uma bibliografia (2005), Judeus no Brasil: Estudos e Notas (2008), and Estrelas Errantes. Memória do teatro ídiche no Brasil (2013).
