Lois Barr
Lois Baer Barr is an emerita professor of Spanish at Lake Forest College. Her publications include Isaac Unbound: Patriarchal Traditions in the Latin American Jewish Novel (ASU Press, 1995), a chapbook of poetry Biopoesis (Poetica, 2014), and a chapbook of short stories, Lope de Vega’s Daughter (Red Bird Press, 2019). She was co-executive producer and chief researcher for the documentary film, Isa: The People’s Diva (2001), available from Facets Multimedia.
