Lois Miller Bar-Yaacov
Lois Miller Bar-Yaacov received her B.A. from Vassar College in 1947 and emigrated to Israel in March 1949. After a long interval as journalist and wife of an Israeli diplomat, she resumed her studies in 1972 at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where she received her M.A. and Ph.D. in English literature. She lectured at the Hebrew University for twenty-five years, specializing in English and American poetry. At present she is writing and translating poetry.
